quick sketches of the 10 most endangered marine animals! did a bit of research when i did this and was shocked when i read the list. critically endangered animal populations are in the hundreds for some species. makes you think about the future of the world. i’ll be focusing more on endangered animals in my future art. i’m trying to improve the quality of my quick sketches!

this one was done live with an architecture student (my bff). i borrowed her staedtler watercolor pencils for this, and i must admit, even though they’re $30 – a bit too much for me – they’re soft and blend really well so it’s worth the amount!
i tried a different mix: watercolor and color pencil- and i think it’s come out much better than i was hoping it would! i’m not good at watercolor shading yet so this makes my art look more defined – i’m practicing for watercolor shading though!
i broke my brush, so for now, here’s a pen sketch of the dinner i had on my shopping trip with my bff! this restaurant is my favorite and i make sure to stop by every time to grab take out whenever i’m in the area!
it’s mango season here and all the shops are rushing to use it optimally before the end of the season – here’s a few of my favorites made from the juicy, soft fruit! more single subject centered watercolor renditions are coming up since i’m obsessed with it.
